    Good epg ?

I've got my dm800hd setup now and have installed a 320gb hard drive.

I now need to get a decent epg guide like sky so I can setup programmes to record.

When I'm on a channel at the moment I usually see what's on next and that's it. I'd like to be able to look at lots of channels programmes at the sane time and into the future like you can on sky. Is this possible ?

Also can you do things like series link record ?

What do I need to do to set this all up as it's the last thing I really need to do.

Thanks in advance for any help

Can I go on the epg and forward to later and set to record like on sky ?

Series link is when you set it to record a whole series, is this possible ?

yh if you set the timer (green button) you can set the recording, but you have to make sure you leave it on the channel you wish to record, because you have a single tuner box, you can leave the box on standby once you set the timer but remember to leave it on the right channel

you will only be able to watch channels on the same transponder which is very limited

yh mate you can set it to repeat the same recording, for instance everyweek or whatever

you don't have to leave it on the same channel mate. it will switch to the channel automatically and then you will only be able to watch that channel or any others on that transponder.

          that's what mine does......anyway.

you can setit to record and repeat that recording on set days etc. but it's not 1 button like sly set record to series and thats it.

you have to enter the times manually.
