Decent image for 800HD Pro

Thanks garry i will have a look around the net and see if can find something i like. Which epg would you recommend im using rytec but there seems to be channels missing, maybe satmate or skyuk? there is too many options!

A use rytec mate any channels days this is missing is ok for me as its not channels I watch.

Satmate is good when it works but seems to crash receivers when it dint.

Hi, just flashed sim201-SS82-de-133dv3PHOENIX2-dm800-13052011 version 2, on my friends old Dm800 works great, had to get infor for epg for satmate uk, works very well epg on all the channels, and now with latest drivers, aint noticed any difference really but its stable and runs well

Yeah think ill flash that version over this weekend can see it making much difference but least it will bring it up to date a bit

dose any1 know if images make the tv picture less blurry and less pixelated, iv ajusted the tv and box but is def not a sharp pic, sd has a lot of blur and pixels. hd has slight blur and pixles its like slight snow in background. just wondering if images have drivers that improve the viewing. mine is dm800 pro rev m, its got newnigma2 image that has not let me down. all epg ect works so i would like to know b4 i start messing around with working box.

Which image is best for a legit DM800 if looking for a good Sky UK Epg such as Rytec?

yes it all set right. i also got an expensive dvi to hdmi convertor and this made no dif, i mayb expecting to much from the box, .

What box are you using? I have a clone dm800 rev m tuner and the picture is perfect esp hd it must be the tv settings or you could try the settings on your image.
Anyone know if there is a option to have subtitles on this new image? I cant find them in the usual place

mine is a clone dm800 pro rev m, its got newnigma2 image. iv tryed all settings so i think it must just be the way it is

Later bootloaders do slightly improve on previous for picture quality . Take a backup then try an 82 image

Got the same receiver as you mate and got a 42" LG LCD and picture quality is superb and I am using the dvi to hdmi lead that came with it full hd is crystal clear.

Have you tested your tv with another receiver (could it be the tv?)

even give another image a try there is not much to loose if right now you are getting a bad quality.

Waj_uk if you are using phoenix if I remember right there is subtitles. I will take a look in the morning and report back.

Thanks most of the images iv tried have always had subtitles option when i press the menu button but in this it doesnt seem too
