Not something I use but the Mrs used to use it and have the tv volumes down low when we had sky (god only knows why she did ) and im sure I pointed it out to her.

Later bootloaders do slightly improve on previous for picture quality . Take a backup then try an 82 image

do you have a known good image so i dont have to try loads.
its not my tv ass i was running a starview combo and that was perfect. but that was cable. got dm as starview was glitching when i set up on sat.

just quick up date. iv tryed 6 images over the last hour and they dont make a diff to the picture. so has to be down to my box.

I've tried a few images and even the phoenix edition 1.3.3 image everyone says is the best which I do like the EPG search function built in but I don't like not being able to press the 7 key two times and it jumping to all the channels starting with P and the GUI looks a bit dated to me so I've stuck with Newnigma 3.2.1 the last few days and I have to say I think it's the one for me.

I know 3.2.2 is out but it's an update online I think and when I tried it I guess it updated the DM check plugin too because I kept getting told to contact dream! (clone box) So had to go back to 3.2.1 and with crossepg and the epg search plugin I think it works well.

Maybe you downloaded a newer version with the dream check installed? I used the one from this site in the downloads section and it works fine as long as you don't update it!

I'm running it with crossepg with sgt flip flops bouquets and picons and it works fine with ccam no problems.

I would try flashing the image again and don't do any update!!

That's strange then mate I don't know what could have caused that because I'm using the one from this site and it's working fine! (without an update at least!).

tried again and it worked this time - now to try and get the EPG working!
