Bootloader issues

As a DM8000 owner of the last year or two, i have limited experince in flashing images etc...

I bought a new clone, DM800HD for another room. It came with Gemini 5.1, i thought, bootloader 76. this is where the problem is, once i tried to flash a new image[cloned image] i now receive CA error. i have read through forums and have seen similar problems. I have bootloader 82, i have downloaded EII image, in readiness. is the Dreambox Enforcer the the way to go to sort my issues?

Just try Dreamup 1.3.3.4 at first with null modem cable and make sure the image you choose has the correct sim.

as andy says a lot of the new cloned dm800 come with sim 2.01 or ferrari you need to ensure you flash the right image for the sim that came with the box

OK, thanks guys, using serial cable and dreamup patched by forhike and natas, i managed to renistall correct image. incidently, all my problems started when i could not put a Ccam onto Gemini image 5.1. the image is the nuts, is this normal or am i missing something?
