bootloader change

Hi guys,

just a quick check, i have a dm800 with sim 2.01 in, however the bootloader is 82. i want to flash it with sim201-SSL76c-de-133dv3PHOENIX-dm800-20092010, i want to check if this will b ok because the image has bootloader 76 built in?

it will be fine mate as long as the sim is the same, it will work good.

Why not use
sim201-SS82-de-133dv3PHOENIX2-dm800-13052011
same image with BL82 already included as well as latest drivers.

i havnt seen that image mate. where did you source it from? downloads section?

can you do the same vise versa my bootloader is the verion before 82, can I flash a 82 image over?

Yes Garry. These later images will work fine as they up/downgrade b.l on flashing. Just ensure image type is correct for sim type

Superb knew you could go down bootloader as long as it was same sim and thought you could go up but never wanted to try it, I got pheonix but where can I find the pheonix 82?

sorry deffc0n never liked the gemini images either for enigma or enigma 2 I find them very basic and poor on looks, but at the same time everyone has there own preferences on image.
