Barry Allen for DM800 HD Clone

Hi there all I've bought a DM800HD Pro (SIM 2.02 & SSL82) that is a clone and I'm a newbie with it.

It works great right out of the box but like some guys I want to try other images and Barry Allen is often said the right plugin for that.

So what version of BA should I use with my config, and what image can you recommand me ?

Get the Tunisia Sat plugins menu first, links on the main forum.
Then download the release of BA there.

I've used it a lot - but still haven't drifted from my gp3 image

Just make sure you have a HDD internal, cuts out any issues i had with USB.

the oozoon lean img and merlin excalibur are considered the best 2 images to have in flash when using B.A. im using B.A. 5.2.6 with a 16gb usb stick with no issues. regards mdt

Thanx for your replies. I have to apologize for the delay because I broke my right shoulder 3 days ago and I was not able to stay in front of my keyboard !

Now I can use my left hand but I have to wait for the HDD and the USB stick I've ordered.

To summerize what I have understood :
- install either a HDD or a stick
- put the Ozoon "lean" image in flash
- install the BA 5.2.6 package
- reboot to get BA working
- play with BA to install alternate images

The current image in Flash is working well, how can I build an image of it that I'll be able to install later under the BA control ?


BTW should I have to make a raw copy of my current Flash content with a dd command ?
