just wondered if anyone has tried one, the colour oled looks great to be honest just wanted to see opinions

I have one running icvs image with crossepg box is much fatser than the dm800hd and the fan is such a good idea on them

Had the DM800 SE for a fortnight. Running dream all-russian image which allows colour picons on oled screen. For example if u are watching BBC HD, you will have colour logo on oled screen. The remote is very responsive,quick processor, has a slient fan. It also plays avi files direct from usb. Overall impressed with the box.

I would definately say YES.

i flashed wrong image and shit loads of problems.

but once it working, have to say it's a great box. 800 pro is not comparable.

well worth it.

make sure you put image with sim 2.1 and not 2.01.

Think this only works on the Allrussian image, install them from the Blackpanel menu

i been told to:

Depending on whether you have them stored on usb drive or internal use these paths;


/media/usb/picon_oled/

/usr/share/enigma2/picon_oled/

/media/cf/picon_oled/

Dont forget to change the permissions/chmod to 644

Copy skin_user.xml to /etc/enigma2/

so will try that tomorrow when i get a new usb stick

Mate if the screen is same size as the 800 pro boxes u wont b able to see the bloody screen. They pointless as u can't the texts way too small

Just go to Blackpanel-Plugin manager-Download manager-Picon-and choose picon-28e-lcd-oled-dm800se-usb,
they install to your Usb Stick (if its mounted) ,Just reboot and your good to go
