    flashing (no parks involved)

    Just want to reflash my DM800HD after it bombed out on me yesterday, trying to flash it using the web browser method, i can browse to the web interface on the box but the cannot find anywhere on the page to flash it...reading the sticky it says it the reflash option is at the bottom of the page but it aint there..any pointers anyone?

    Unplug the power supply on the rear of the box , hold the silver reset button in and keep holding it in then plug back in the power supply . Keep holding the reset until you see stop . Go to your browser and type in the ip address of your box and at the bottom of the page should be firmware upgrade

      so you still have do something to the box...i just though that was just to get the I.P which i knew already, so the firmware upgrade option only appears after these steps only

        Yes do as moulee2009 says the ip will appear in the lcd so check and use that one you see.

          is this a full flash or is it an upgrade, seems this will only rewrite the image and not the BL is there a clean install i.e bootlader and image all together??

          and will dreamup do this

            The images have the bootloader included, if your box is a sim201 here is a couple of examples
            of images for it, just flash via browser
            DreamEliteBH-133dv3PHOENIX sim201-SSL76c-de-dm800-20092010.nfi = BL76C
            OR
            sim201-SS82-de-133dv3PHOENIX2-dm800-13052011.nfi = BL82
