Got my DM800 up and running but not really happy about the EPG, tried the cool tv guide but not much difference really, is there an alternative out there that will give me a 7 day epg??

Depends on what image your using Rytec SkyUK is the best and most stable,Satmate is also ok.

yes, depends on which image you are running.

all the mentioned ones are good and provide 7 days epg.

quiet simple to install as well.

thanks chaps, what else do i need to do to enhance this little bundle of joy i have.....this is what i have got installed and if you think i am missing something or i should have or no about please let me know.

Db800 pro hd
250gb hdd installed and setup for pause/rewind/record ect
a decent sub for it and a really good reception
cross epg installed and rtyec
bouqets sorted
usb cooling fan for it

anything else i should need ??

Hi Mate..i have the BH phoenix image, you need to press the blue button, red button for epg settings and then download the rytec skyuk, also you can access the TS panel>addons and downlod the crossepg.

not sure if it will be the same method on your image??

ok, ive downloaded cross epg and downloaded rytec. i did the configuration bit, but nothing is showing up really. is there some special way to turn this on ?
