    How to mount USB stick

How do I mount a usb stick on my DM800?

    Running Newnigma2

Its already fat32 - i plug it in - hit blue - Newnigma 2 services - system tools - devicemanager - can see the usb - hit ok and get options.

    Options:
    Format partition
    add a swapfile
    mount partition to autofs
    file system consistency check

I want to mount to media/usb and not autofs

I mounted to autofs and tried creating a usb folder in media and moving everything from autofs thru DCC but no luck.

    Any suggestions?

Can you not just copy and paste it?

have you tried formatting the usb, to see if it gives you an option for "mount points"

I searched for ages for a fix for this , and couldnt get an answer anywhere, usb stick always mounted to autofs regardless of file system,
I went back to using dream elite phoenix V2 , good image and everything works
                well

It's against the rules to post links to another forum so that's why I send you a pm.

As you have done, fat32 format on pc..plug in usb then find storage folder - intilize the usb -then mount as default hard disc.....

I have had a usb which would not mount .I got it fixed by loading a different image in flash then when i got it working i reinstalled my original image which woulldnt mount it and it was fine ..regards Rhurbarb

                            Thanks rhurbarb!

I do everything as you wrote it but putting a Usb stick in the receiver and d'ont read Picons with Nevnigma2. For several days trying to read picons from USB stick and newnigma2 without success....
Problem is in the image Newnigma2.... I have another box with the image of Openpli there the same stick that is Transcend 1Gb works perfectly and picons read it without having to make any adjustments!

                            Problem is only in image!!!
