how to get EPG to work on dm800hd ???

but it doesnt seem to work for me :/

i have the [email protected] image on my box. downloaded everything, configured it, even manage to choose usb - but it still doesnt work and shows only whats now and next - thats it really...

any ideas ???

have you downloaded the epg! as i installed crossepg and just made sure i had downloaded the epg at first, this will send you to a radio page and it will download the upto date epg

i did, as i see the files on the usb.

sometimes it works for the next 5-6 shows, sometimes it shows only 2...

Hi change your image although i have a genuine box tried gemini 5.1 could not get epg to work drove me mad, then tried the Peter Pan image 2.3 epg works no problems now running Nemesis 2.2 epg works straight out of the tin (although epg provider still has to be set up in crossepg as to what site to pull the data from)

Guide to install Crossepg with Nemesis 2.2 enigma2 images - 7 day Sky EPG
This guide is based on a Satellite Enigma2 Dreambox with latest Nemesis 2.2 image installed.(Ferrari-SSL78F-Nemesis2.2-dm800-e2-OE(1.6)-SVN(078))

After many weeks of struggling with rytec.sources.xml files I finally have a full 7 days EPG running and updating daily. Using the OpenTV source option.

The EPG is stored on a USB memory stick which has been formatted (FAT32) using the HP USB disk format tool

Step 1
Configure via Blue button
Blue button>Yellow button>EPC configuration

1./media/usb
2.48
3.1 second
4.no
5.marcopolo
6.yes
7.Rewind (80-90s)
8.no
9.no
10.enable
11.no

Step 2
Menu > Setup > CrossEPG

Configure:
1.Upper slot - DataTraveler G3 (If your device does not show, remove and replace)
2.no
3.yes
4.yes
5.once a day
6.05.00
7.yes
8.no
9.no

Exit

Then go to OpenTv providers and select the providers you wish to download.

From the CrossEPG menu select Download Now Job Done!
If after reboot EPG does not show go back into Crossepg menu and force-reload.

if its Dreamelite Phoenix Edition , blue button then red for epg then pick rytec skyuk and ok and install

right...ive installed dream elite, downloaded rytec and still i see only whats now and next show - thats all. is there something else that I need ?

press bouquet button then number 3, choose your section and should give you multi epg

it shows multi epg, but i can only see 2 shows on each channel - current and one next

got it sorted eventually turns out ive downloaded rytec, but it was for Italy LOL feel like an idiot now

one question - on some channels i get the audio description and i need to change it to normal audio - why is that happening ?

second question - how do i enable picons on this image ?
