All up and Running - Should I update?

Thats me all up and running with my DM800HD clone, Fitted Hard Drive tonight so no more messing about (or so I thought)

Checking the image on my box it's
Devicename: dm800
Enigma Version: D2009.10.06.09.37.50-Oct 17 2009
Image Version: dev-2009-10-09

Should I be updating this? - whats the most common image to download or is it just a matter of trying them all?

Its all down to personal preference to be honest.

If your current image is not giving any problems and you are happy with it then stick with it.

I recently switched to Newnigma2 3.2.2 from Gemini and I cant recommend it enough.

I recommend Newnigma2 as well but can I just ask a question... how did you update to 3.2.2 and do you have a clone box?

I updated mine but then kept getting told my dreambox failed the genuine check and it bugged the hell out of me! How did you update without having that issue?

I have clone dm800 wiith newnigma 3.2.2 superb image and hq on my full hd 50 inch plasma i also moved from gemini.

How did you manage to get the 3.2.2 image to work correctly with the clone box? I've tried a 3.2.2 image and recording playback didn't work and after the online update I kept being told my dreambox wasn't valid!

I've gone back to 3.2.1 now!

Everyone thinks there image is the best,and that is the point everyone as there favourite there is no best image.For me the only important factor is not the gui it is the hd picture quality.If someone like me invests ?1800 on a full hd 50 inch plasma i want the best 1080i output picture quality from my dreambox.Some images i have tried have had very poor pq output quality.So in conclusion the The Best image for DM 800 is the one that looks best on your tv.
