Hi, can anyone pls tell me how to restore my dreambox 800hd after i mistakenly updated software, the dreambox is not showing any channel but the LCD is only showing Dream multimedia. thanks

cant help ya mate but try changing your title to 800hd you have it 8000hd

Flash the correct software using DreamUp 1.3.3.4 and a null modem cable.

and how do I flash using a null cable. i have done this and it shows the local ip which i did but it is still saying connect box ater which i have connected it . It's still showing the dream multimedia on the LCD. tnx

if it's showing ip address 192.168.1.xxx.

you can just flash from the web browser.

hold down the power button on the box. while doing so disconnect the power lead and reconnect again.

once the box screen shows the ip address....let go of the power button. type that address on your computer/laptop.

this will bring you to the screen with option to upgrade firmware at the bottom.

click that and follow th screen prompts and this will allow you to flash a new image.

job done.
