Nothing recording to HDD

i have an internal HDD installed in my dm800, was recording stuff via me looking through the epg and adding a timer. past few times i have set it to record it hasn't recorded or even shown anything in the hdd/movie.

I have been having lots of issues recently with the box going green and crashing, can i reset the box to factory settings and start a fresh with nothing on the box? as i have put new images on but this doesnt get rid of all the old stuff.

Forget this post..as i did a factory reset and tired to add a new image but ****ed the box up and gave the No CA error! so i am using dreamup to flash the box, 77minutes to upload to box is this normal?
