dm800 hard drive problem

i have just installed an hard drive and have just got this come up

If I press instant record, I get an error message that the free space is too small (less than 100mb)

i am a newbee to this so i am not sure what i have done so any help would be good

Have you initialized the HDD? Goto Menu > System > Harddrive the select your hard drive and press 'blue' to access the menu and choose 'Initialize'.

I *think* that's how it's done, although the correct procedure could be a little different.

Depending on what image you have you may also find formatting it to the correct format maybe a problem, i had an issue with the gemini image and had to remove hd to format it properly...... then make sure all your pathing of files are correct ie where to save to.
