oled screen not working - brand new box from china

hi all, i just taken delivery of a dreambox 800hd pro receiver. happy up until i noticed that the oled screen was not working.

    what could be the problem?
i dont really want to bother with sending the item back to china, if someone could suggest a possible fix, it would much appreciated.

    any suggestion welcome.

Would it not have been cheaper just to replace the oled, around ?20 or try swapping with a mate 1st then send the damage oled back to china and get the new one.

no point buying a new oled display, im just sending the box back to the seller, and exchange it with a working receiver, as soon as i take delivery of the replacement, il sell it on ebay for about ?150. to get a replacement receiver its going to take good 10/15 days to sort out, i cant wait that long.

i want everything setup before 3/4th august so i just ordered a new box from a different seller.

Easy mate, as simple as a few screws and pop it out.

Do any of your mates have a dm800? try swapping them 1st, then if ok, just send the front back.

Save you money and if it goes walkies then its a easy replacement.

Here is a dm7025 replacement will try find a 800 but just the same anyway.
