    dm800se losing minutes slowly

ok. my new dm800se is great but it seems to be losing time over a period..................so it just loses minutes and continues to do so. i'm confused as to how this can happen.

it is running the dream elite 2 image.

i put a new skin on it and the time was correct and slowly again it is losing time.

    anybody come across this??

Have you been doing restarts ?

I found on the the DM800 that restarts will knock the clock off gradually.

Strange, the thing only seems to bother to time synchronise at startup so would of thought restarts would make it more accurate. I guess it depends on the time source.

Some images allow you to set your clock via the transponder.

Have you searched for this option?

When my clock was off I use to do a complete shutdown - leave off for about 10mins and then switch it on and keep on a channel for a couple of mins and all returned to normal.

You need to update your drivers mate to avoid this problem going forward.

go to tspenel sim201 tool find drivers and you will see dm800se drivers by mfraj57

To adjust you date and time.

Go to tspnel3.2 - system tools -date -time changer

                              losing time

tried everything, updated drivers, changed images and the clock still doesn't keep time, its not losing minutes but hours, re-set the clock yesterday and in 24 hours its behind by 14 hours already, i timed the clock changing minutes and it was spot on so the time seems to be disappearing somewhere else.
really annoying as my epg doesn't update on its own,

                              help!!!!!
