Once you have set certain audio channels like the music ones it will save it for you all the time once they have been set.

think you can edit this in dreambox edit i think i seen some post on this before on one of the sat forums cant remember were but did read about it before

I would like to know this to , start watching a movie and then some geezer starts talking on screen .

Im using the dreamboxuk image and it has no option to turn it off as far as i can see , the yellow button on previous images was audio this is now timeshift

do it through the menu mate, i think av settings, set AC3 on default

open your chan list in dreambox edit then right click on the chan name then you will see options to edit audio and so on not sure what you need to change it to but more than sure its in there you have to do it as i think on most boxs when you reboot them the audio settings change back this way it should keep it saved thats if they dont change it again

just been playing about with this on dm8000 using gp3 image there is an info options when you pick the right audio that you want to use it shows you the right number you need to put in to dreambox edite you could try this and see how long it lasts or how often they change it but i do know if i turn my box of doing it through the audio button it will reset back will try rebooting box when doing it through dreambox edite when i get back in see if it changes
