getting error when selecting blue arrow - green background wih writing - plz help

hi, just received my new dm800 hd box and having some trouble. when i select blue panel from the menu the box freezes for 10 seconds then i get an error (see pic attached).

also hd channels are freezing once the info bar disappears even though i have latest box with 801A M tuner. Why is this happening? any solution to solve problem?

also i received a message saying my software is out of date. only came up once

and finally the last problem, only reason i bought this over openbox s10 was due to dm800 having a 7 day epg. for some reason my box does not have 7 day epg.

any solutions to fixing the problem would be of great help. please help thank you.

its called a greenscreen crash, when this happens it will generate a crash log in /HDD on your receiver. if you open this in notepad you can read it for clues to a possible reason for the crash. or upload the file here for some one to read for you.

What image are you using and have you changed the skin on it?
Just by taking a quick look at the green screen error I can make out "skin erroe and epg errors"...maybe your current skin is conflicting with the epg download.
My advice is to re flash with Dream Elite Phoenix Edition in downloads but choose the correct bootloader image to suit your box,theres ssl76 and ssl82.
Seems to be the most preferred image with members

Ive had the green crash screen when ive changed the skin.
Put the image on its the best out there and is suitable for your box.
Take the file out and put it on your desktop.
Will pm an easy youtube video to flash it through web browser.

The crash is realated to the current skin you're using, if you look at the last line of your screen shot it tells you that it can't find a file.

Was the skin you installed compatible with the image you're using? There are skins specially adapted for differing images as there are difference in the library calls avialable.

If you let it green screen a few times it should eventually revert back to you default screen.

As the box boots, connect via dcc and remove the skin. This will revert back to default and the box will boot normally.
