    DM8000HD Keeps locking up

Hi everyone, Need a bit of help, just got a second hand box with nabilosat black hole v.0.12 and enigma 2 on it. Not tried to flash or anything else yet, just a sat scan. It keeps on shutting down, the blue power light goes off and tv screen too, but the fan that's been fitted behind the hard drive is still running, oh yeah and the display is still at where it was scanning when it shut down. Is this an overheating problem ? Would really appreciate a few pointers. Just gonna crack a can.

    Cheers all

i would personally flash a new image like the Dreamelite Phoenix Edition, find out what sim your box is first though.
Similar image to the one your using but lets you download things like ccams.
Your image was great but doesnt allow downloads no more.
A reflash might just fix the problem.
I forgot to add when a box has an internal sata drive they sometimes run hotter so try it without the internal sata drive.
Another option is to buy a cheap laptap cooler, they cheap as chips and plug in via the usb on the Dreambox.
    Andy.

Sorted it out, fitted couple of 80x80x10mm fans inside the case above the power supply and it's now working ok.
