    Motorised system

I am looking to go for a motorised option, i have a dm800 currently fixed to 28.2e and would like to broaden my horizons, i have seen this on fleabay
    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...#ht_1688wt_830

Would this be sufficient and all i need? Or would i need anything else to get up and running?
I am using unofficial dreamelite phoenix edition
    Any help appreciated

90 cm is big enough in most areas, the problem you have with bigger dishes is the wind so if i could choose again would find a mesh dish rather than a solid one.
I paid 170 quid all in for a similar set up with twin lnb and t and k brackets, they loads better than them other ones.
Might be worth finding an installer and see what you can get it for cos i wouldnt want the hassle just to save a few quid.

I always thought the bigger the better! Im in the east midlands area and wanting ideally to catch the prem footy etc so apart from the mesh design everything else is ok with that one i linked? I wouldnt need any other equipment? Yeah ideally i would like someone to install it as i dont have a clue about these things!

Andy is right, you only really need to go 1m and above the further North into Scotland.

I have a 80 cm in the west of Scotland and I pick up

          28.2, 23.5, 19.2, partial 16, 13 and 9.

I wasnt to fussed with thor but would need a 1m if I wanted it, although I heard some people are able to pick up a partial on a 80 from my area.

I get thor ok on mine and im pretty sure my dish is 85 cm.
Big is better to a point but im not sure i want a massive dish like nasa on the side of my house.
Be weary where you fix it cos of strong winds, use t and k brackets you can do pull ups on mine

Thanks guys so i think il opt for 90cm instead of the 1.1m as it seems to pick up everything i want on there. Im in the middle of looking for a new house so hopefully i can buy one where the dish wont stand out too much!

I would try the sat shops they offer everything you need with free delivery. The motor 2300 has nylon gears, and they now make the 2600 with metal gears. I bought one from World of Satellite for ?39.
