    Can dm800 images be used on dm800se?

    Probably been asked so i appologise in advance:

    Just sold my dm800hd and have bought a dm800se which should arrive in a few days :-)

    can i use the same images? as i had dreamelite phoneix edition and it was the best image i have found to be honest.

      just seen this but unsure if its suitable for dm800se

      DMM Dream Elite 2.0 Beta


      The Dream Elite staff after receiving so many request for the new image has decided to release a beta version to involve all our users into the testing stage.
      Our very new born team has been working hard to provide the Dream Multimedia comunity a user friendly image focusing mainly on stability.
      We are ready to listen to any proposal and taking in account any positive or negative feedbacks, as we want improve our image to use the full potential of our decoders.
      Our team is associated with DMM and we only support their original products, any suggestion or reference to a non original product will not be taken in consideration and will be immediately removed from this board.
      We are still working to improve our image and we will release a final version soon, hoping to implement your suggestion..

          i've tried a number of images for the 800se and they are pretty crap to be honest.

          the best and most stable is the dream elite 2 tested by tony...............available in the downloads section on dk.

          stick a different skin on it (hd gass 14 on mine) and install tspanel.

          you got everything you need.

              no DM800 and DM800SE images are not interchangeable.

              try the dreamboxuk image it's based on openpli 2

                  yeah your right their m8 they are crap some of the images have so many bugs some images my recordings wont even play and some images have download panels when you download the plug in or skin it gives you green screen.

                  even the dream elite image tested by tony is crap to the clock on their keeps slowing down its 20 Min's behind even if you select the UK timezone.
                  and sometimes you cant even press the ok button.

                  im yet to find a good image that works without any bugs im waiting for the phonix edition image to be relased by marfajai that was on of the best images for the dm800.

                      like i said mate, i've got this image with the different addons....working good. wipe your system with a fresh flash and install only the things you need and should be working goo after that...

                      the time slowing i had a problem with as well......but now sorted..........take a look here....
