Trying to configure 2 dreamboxes

I'm trying to get 2 dreamboxes to share the same external cline server.
I have an external cline server

C: domainname port user pass

In one of the Dreamboxes (dm800) the cccam.cfg

is

F: user1 pass1
C: domainname port user pass

In the other dreambox (dm800) the cccam.cfg

is

C: 192.168.x.xx 12000 user1 pass1

where the ip address is the same ip address of the first box.

The second box does not connect to the same cline as the first box.

Anyone got any ideas?

All i know is you cant have two boxes with the same ip address so make both static ip addresses but differently,
Edit, so if the first one is 192.168,2.1 make the second box 192.168.2.100

We allow CS talk to a certain extent but this is right on the border of such.

One thing I will say if it's a payserver c:line they will not usually come with reshare rights and so you cannot "share" the same line between two boxes.

On that note I think that will be as far as we can help you if that is the case.

it is definately as satsmo says, payservers will not let you use the same line in 2 boxes (or give you reshare rights - you would need a 2nd line to sort this out). some say they will ban you if they see you connecting from 2 boxes etc.
