bricked my db800 what do i need?

ok ive bricked my dm800 after installing crossepg

comming up sim201
so im guessing i need to load dreamup and reflash it
as im a noob and never dont this can someone help me as to what i need, was running an nigma2 image not sure what is best to use now.

im gona hunt around for a null cable are these serial type connectors like the old printers?

you can flash by using web browser mate.

unplug the box.
hold down the power button on the front of box and plug in the power. keep the button pressed until it shows a ip address.

stick that ip address in ur browser and you will get the page you need to flash.

it will have upgrade firmware at the bottom. click on that andfollow the steps. box flashed

you can download imaes from the downloads section. make sure the image is the same sim version as on your box.

ok it comes up sim201 team ramiMAHER #76c when i hold the power button in guessing thats my sim version is 201

Do you hold it till it says stop? then enter the IP in browser and reflash?

or as it boots ftp and remove the crossepg folder.

think it will be stored on your HDD

yea sorry got it up on my browser holding the powerbutton method ready to flash just need to confirm my sim version with one on the download section

after i put epg on and rebooted i got a green screen saying something about epg cache and kept looping the boot so i turned it off and got this.

ok backup and running using the above image from smirnoff altho ive lost my ccam info so dont have the extra channles anymore so trying to contact the guy i bought it from to try get the details unless you guys know a clever way to find them out

doh, didnt have a clue about doing that, first satbox ect came plug and play not had any trouble till now for future ref what file to i backup?

also guy i got it from not selling anymore so might have trouble altho i have found him on facebook or think i have hehe the name narewal ring anyones bells?

download dcc from my siggy and look at the tuts in the sat dreambox section
