Hi mate, I have a 80cm dish west of Scotland, get pretty much everything I need.

    I get 28, 23.5, 19. partial 16, 13 and 9

If you go for a 1m you will prob get a few more.

Search on ebay for a full motorised package. Ranging from ?70+

Dont get bogged down in types of lnb to start. Bog standard does the job fine.

dishes are all fine....but i would say pretty much everything depends on the installation. so make sure you know what you are doing or get someone who does.

LNBs are very cheap, so buy a good one. They do make a difference to signal quality, especially in poor weather. Inverto Black Ultra is the best IMO, and costs around ?12.

Do they tho? I thought it was the other way about?

The lnb only makes a slight difference in good weather, didnt think it made a difference in bad weather.

Now if your dish is too small you will get drop outs in bad weather, but the bigger dish wont.

Could be all down to opinions but you will learn it as you go.

My 80cm only gets drop outs in on 16e as the signal is not great from where I stay on that size of dish when its heavy thick snow cloud or heavy rain cloud.

Now from lnbs I have tried and from what I have read wouldnt have made a difference.
