ability to delete from H/Drive

my son set up the system for the dish and dreambox 800 plus harddrive.Everything was fine until a friend said he new one of his mates had upgraded his box with a new system called playthi? now I seem to have lost the capability to delete programmes from the hard drive,I use to press menu when viewing the list of movies on the drive and delete when seen. Has anyone any ideas.thanks

does the option to format the hdd come up if it does just format every time its full. also try unmounting it then mounting it again

press video button then scrow to the movie you want to delete, press menu and delete
