Erease when flshing ?

    Erease when flshing ?

    When i do a flash with the web interface do i at the same moment erease the previous image and all settings ?
    When using DreamUp it actually asks me if i want to erease.

    Normally get that with the Dreambox 500 using dreamup.
    If it for the Dreambox 800hd and you want to reflash just do it with the browser method and it will reflash over the old image with no problems.
    Just remember to flash with the correct image for the sim of your box.

      If not Imaged with correct image , What will happen to DM ?

        Wrong image will semi brick up,probably get the No Ca Found problem or error message.

          You can always update thesecond stage bootloader and choose other images you like....I had bootloader 76 on my older unit but updated to 79 and now 82 and running the Dream Elite Phoenix Edition image.
          Just flash the bootloader first and the image immediately afterwards,no need to reboot between processes,
