    Straightforward enough.

Pick how you want to connect from the top left hand screen in the configuration menu.

    Most common is router.

Now you have a network process with green or red lines.

In the boxes type the Dreambox IP and the Router IP

Enter the Password and the Login default is root dreambox

Press reconnect and if all green your sorted, if red, check connections and IP addresses.

    DCC Read me.zip

    Use this dcc for E2

Hi Rodbouy Thanks for this mate but I have a problem that doesn't seem to be covered or at least not where I've looked!!
When I reconnect I get a green line from the computer IP to the router IP but red to the box IP. I've done a search and tried the different IP's and on one (which I didn't think was the correct one) I still get the green from comp to router but red to the box but the FTP connect box at the bottom is green but the telnet connect box is red. Have you any idea what the hell I'm doing wrong please? I'm not an expert (as you can tell!!) so please keep any replies to bare basic's!! Thanks all for reading and hopefully you can put me back on track!! (This all started by the way because I accidently deleted my CCcam file and I'm trying to get it back!!)

              Open DCC,
              Click on experts,
Change ftp type to passive, this should sort it for you.
              Cheers,

make sure the ip address is correct for the box. goto network settings on box and adapter settings....ip address should be the same as here.

Hi alom Thanks for info I will make sure they are the same - mind you when I do the above my box IP in Dcc is correct but my router is saying something like: 192.168.1.1 but Dcc is saying 192.168.0.1 but they still connect!!!? I have even changed the router to 0.1 and apart from "mucking up" everything that's trying to connect "through" it it makes no difference as Dcc still connects??? Beyond my little brainbox
