Recording and Watching help

Somebody please shoot me down if i am wrong but i need clarification on something...

I am looking at buying a DM800HD, i see that it has only 1 tuner which means i can only record what im watching...(right?)

I want to be able to record one channel whilst watching another (Sky+ style). Is it possible using this box? I've seen people mention adding a HDD, would this work?

If it is not possible, feel free to point me in the direction of a lowish priced box with 2+ tuners in order to save my disappointment

You can to a certain extent but only channels that are on the same transponder.

You need a twin tuner other wise.

You could look at the Duo or a clone Dm8000

Think they about ?300 - ?350 ish

Not 100% sure tho.

There will be lower priced twin tuners im sure. Some guys on here will prob post and let you know.
