    edit cccam.cfg

    Am trying to edit cccam.cfg file in my dreambox 800, am running the Phonex image, have downloaded via the box cccam 2.2.1 full and activated and restarted my box, then ive connected my box to my pc and using a ftp programme ive gone into Var, Etc then cccam.cfg, right click, then it says View/edit, it opens in notepad, any help would be great.

    Thats is just remove the crap out of there and add what you need to,shut the ccam.cfg and the file will upload.

      Great,thanks Andy, have got nothing to put in there yet, just testing, there are about 7 cccam.cfg files in the etc folder, does it matter which one i edit? also ive switched cam to 2.1.4 full.

        You need to cut the lot out and leave it completly blank till the time arrives.

          You mean cut all the rubbish out of the 7 files and put what i want into one of the files?

            If you dont get it sorted il be home in half hour and pm you a link which will make it easy for you to edit your file

              When the time arrives you will be given something to add.
              Are you at this point yet?
              Anyway when it does happen the ccaam.cfg needs to be completely blank.

                no, just playing with my new toy! I understand that am just wondering because there is 7 files, do i just edit one of the 7 files?

                  How did you end up with 7 cfg files? I would delete 6 (provided they are all CCCAM.CFG and not other cccam files

                    Btw, no need to go to var, just go straight to etc, (on the 800)

                      Yes ive got seven files too must be the image as it allows you to switch between config files
