DM800HD Tuner

Hey guys, can someone tell me the name of the original tuner for DM 800 HD..

There aint many original tuners out there as most 800s are clones.
The latest and best clone tuner is M 801A Tuner if that helps.

Is it for an original box?
I know you can buy tuners readily but original ones i think only Dreambox will stock them.

No m8, its a clone, have the well known "tune failed" problem. Have tried several images, but nothing seems to help. So have decided to go for a new tuner, as I have read that is the only solution.

Tune failed doesnt necessary mean its the tuner,could quite be that the channel frequency needs updating by a scan or new bouquets.
Most older tuners only have the glitch problem with some of the hd programs because on how they are being transmitted.
My tuner is Rev J and works perfect.
You could try an inline amp for the hd but i think thats not your problem.
You could try sliding it in and out matron!

Have also tried the sliding part , scan and bouquets, but nothing. Dont know which tuner it has, the plate on it is blank. My snr is 100% and it still keeps coming with tune failed.

Currently I?m on gp 4.7. One thing I noticed, example on 0.8w "tune failed" only comes on horizontal transponders, slight glitching also happens on V transponders, but not nearly as often as on the H.
