    dm800 clone freeze/lock issue.

I have googled my problem but cannot find an answer.

I have a clone dm800 with blackhole image, been working fine up till friday.

I turn it on and it shows the last thing I was watching, in this casr al jazeera sport on 13. After about 30 seconds os so it seems to lock, the remote does not change anything, or turn it off, and whatever was on the screen remains, ie the info bar at the bottom with what is on and signal strength that normally goes off after a few seconds stays on. The picture remains ok.

in the top left corner there are 3 small squares and a moving arrow, that remais constantly on, I presume its trying to do something?

I have to turn off at the plug. When I turn on again, same thing, works fine for a minute, then the squres appera and nothing!

Not sure myself m8 but maybe do a reflash. You could reflash a new image on it by the time you wait for an answer. It only takes a couple of minutes

    THE TRUTH
    The Hillsborough Independent Panel. 12/09/12

Today's report is black and white. The Liverpool fans were not the cause of the disaster.
The panel has quite simply found 'no evidence' in support of allegations of 'exceptional levels of drunkenness, ticketlessness or violence among Liverpool fans' and 'no evidence that fans had conspired to arrive late at the stadium' and 'no evidence that they stole from the dead and dying'.

those little squares appear when downloading to the box, have you set it up to download the epg auto? maybe its not working properly. as bulldog says though a reflash will just set it back to before. save your bouquets and config though as you may lose them

if you press blue button, then red for epg have a look through the providers to see if any are set for automatic download, like bulldog advised quick reflash should sort your problem out

if its not that one try blue> blue >blackhole epg panel> then settings you can see somewhere if enabled or disabled. i dont have it enabled for auto, i download manually once a week. as for the bouquets i use dreamset to save and edit mine. i use dcc to gain entry to the config highlight and copy to notepad the important bits you need to keep, then copy paste them back in when i need to. you dont need the remote to work for either programme

Hi i have the same problem and i think i have solved it. Pull out the ethernet unplug it turn back on when it resets the 4 blue squares wont come on. Go into setting network settings and one of then will reveil 2 boxes mines was set to w/lan.
So i changed it to lan and exit settings pluged the ethernet back in and so far everything back to normanl hope this helps.
