Hi folks...be gentle...i have limited knowledge!

just flashed my moms dm800 using the web browser method over the network.. now im getting the above message...

i need to order one of those null cable thingys... but i dont have serial connection on my laptop... is there a usb to serial null modem cable?

is there an easy fix... shes tempted to toss it and buy a vu+!

is there no software to flash the dm800 like flashwizard pro on the 500?

also.. how do i know what image to use? bootloaders etc... these 800s are more difficult than 500s!

ive checked the sim and its 2.01 (clone)

id like some sort of Pli Image.. anyone recommend a safe one?

As long as the image has the correct patch you can put any bootloader / image on, just make sure it's the correct iamge for your box...
