    Ftp Issue

Hi all, I was until recently, able to get access to my box via ftp. (To insert c:line).

I now cannot get access whatsoever. I don't know what I've done. When I do try to access it, my web page states ' Internet explorer cannot display the web page'.

I've tried turning off my firewall, to no avail.

Can anyone give me guidance into resolving the issue, please ?

    Thanks in advance.

are you using i e to FTP? If so I would switch to a dedicated FTP client, filezilla is good and free also. Then check your I p address in network tab on dreambox , and away you go,
      User is root
      Password dreambox

Try a different network cable, I had that once and it turned out to be a faulty cable.

I'm using a Wi-Fi bridge. I can get access to the box's web control, through http://.

                Thanks

                        Success !!!

After many hours of frustration, I finally managed to crack it !

When I had deleted the password in Tuxbox, as the seller had locked it, I had replaced the ZEROs with O's. Changing them around, has allowed me access to my box again.

Hopefully someone else might get the benefit of my error.

Many thanks to all who gave me their guidance on trying to rectify my issue.

                        Cheers,
