Recommend Me Image For DM800SE

Hi all,

I have been a long time user of a Dm800 tried a few images, but stuck with Dream Elite 1.3.3 Pheonix Image, really like the look and runs great, even the addons panel works, im looking to get a dm800se now, so wanting to know is there image same image for this ? if not what other images that people recommend to use ?

is a nice easy to use clean image but plenty to choose from in that link , btw the sat4fun dream-elite pheonix version for the DM800SE can only be used in a multiboot setup (meoboot or barry allen) and cant be flashed to internal flash

please ensure you have sim2 type and not ferrari sim before flashing from this link

last time i checked the extra was working ,
if not just add tspanel , for all your dreambox needs

Hi, can you run cross epg to store internal memory or you still need usb or hard drive for it ??

not 100% sure mate , but i always go with the recommended way and use usb stick keeping the internal flash streamlined for max performance

just looked at spec same as dm800, 64 MByte Flash, 256 MByte RAM, think would need usb for cross epg, i take same way flashing via browser as long its a sim 210 image and box is a 210, gotta get myself one of these now ,

Yes, same flashing method mate, the clone makers seem to have nailed the s.e in Rev 1 , maybe lessons were learned from the early 800 's

i was using the dream elite 2.0. it worked fine. now i am on the openpli 2.1 beta for se.

seems to be working fine and can download everything via the buttons. also has tspanel installed already.

one thing i can't figure out is how to manually install after ftp to temp. can download so not that bothered.

I tried the phoenix version for the SE and didn't like all the extra work.
Just loaded up NewNigma 2 and working no problem.

I usually change images every other day well i did with the dm800hd but since i got the dm800se it still has the image it came with (ALL RUSSIAN img) and i cant fault it so far all plugins that i need work great even mytube is mega fast so at the moment this would be my recommendation.

where did u get the phoenix for the se from m8 been looking for this but no luck.

i'm trying out the newnigma for the se. looks like nice image. but i can't get crossepg to work. any ideas. it downloads parses and all that.....but no epg shows.
