Wrong image installed

I'm just waiting for my USB to serial null modem adaptor to try this procedure.

In the quote above you mention the cat5 (network cable) must be a crossover? I thought the null modem cable IS the crossover bit... but the network cable would be normal?

I do have an RJ45 crossover adapter but if using a USB to serial Ecell - USB TO SERIAL NULL MODEM CABLE KIT FOR: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics as the serial interface then the network cable shoudl be normal?????

if you have a dm800hd that has a rs232 port and you use a null modem cable
if you have a dm800se it does'nt have a rs232 port you have to use a mini A-B cable same as a camera uses and a cat5 lan cable both connected,
