    Dont matter to much but its best to put full address in plus house number and full post code.
    Are you still getting tune failed?

    Did you try a set of bouquets like Catseyes?
    Does it look how mine looks in reception settings?

        Tone ampitude can affect things,try it at different slots.
        If i select 1100 on my box it wont move the dish.

        Im giving you the readings from my box so yours might have different N/S/E/W.

        As you can see on mine its East and North.
        Im in the Midlands.

                    Not sure how this works Southpaw i helped set a lad up from Manchester and im sure his was like mine East and North.
                    Guess we need someone from the Liverpool area to confirm their settings on a motorised set up.

                      Did a bit of googling and came across these settings below.
                      Edit,just looked at my address on same site and mine says North and West yet it works perfect with East and North so more confused now

                      Latitude = 53.5307, Longitude = -2.9519
                      Lat = 53 degrees, 31.8 minutes North
                      Long = 2 degrees, 57.1 minutes West

                      Hoping this is the right one.

                      Andy.

                            Thats weird i dont move my dish very often cos my dreambox is mainly upstairs on the second line but ive always had it on East and North and its been fine.
                            When i get a minute will try it west and north.
                            Makes you wonder what difference is does make as long as the long and lat are correct.

                            Andy.

                              if you get your east/west the wrong way round , your longitude is cant be correct ,
                              as the meridian line runs thru UK, it wont be as much a factor as it would be if we were further east or west (most of the uk is below value of 4 either side of prime meridian), the further the number from zero for any given longitude, the more impact it will have if you get your east or west wrong way round

                                Right chaps, jumped up the ladder and have now got 28.2 working, but when you look ay my motor is saying around 33 Deg.

                                What do i need to do to set this to the 28.2 so that if i turn over and go bakc it wil lgo to the same spot and i will get sky uk signal?
