hi, i keep getting the following message, service not found! (SID not found in pat. what does it mean?

also i download and transferred sgtflipflops bouqets, when i select certain satellites, the channels are not highlighted, why is this? how do i solve this problem?

also getting "Message (4,3,2,1) Tuner failed!"

also in tuner config, which satellite should i point it at?
and how do i rescan all the satellites at once?

Did you try the guy i told you about Kaiser?

Try usals, so press menu/setup/service searching/tuner configuration/tuner mode choose simple not advanced.
Change mode to positioner.
Put your long and lat in and your good to go.
Check the pic it should look like that with your long and lat not mine and it should work.
Give Catseyes bouquets they have a good selection for multi sats.

no, i did call him, he said he would come and install the dish at 4 but he never called back. luckily or unluckily a sat installer called me about 12. he never even knew what to do, i had to explain to him how to setup the sat. he never even used a compass and used a old yellow horizon sat finder.

he basically tightened up the motor to the pole and was moving the satellite around. he caught 0.8w thor satellite but when i moved the dish to 28.2e i couldn't catch signal due it not being inline with the arc. i then had to tell him to line up the dish and motor and only adjust the sat elevation and motor around pole.

also he never new nothing about motorised dish, when he called me, he said he could do setup without a problem. took him 4 hours to setup. everything was setup, he just had to align the dish. should have took him maximum 1 hour. gave him ?45 (cheap but pain in the arse - i knew more than him thanks to this site)

Doesnt sound like your having much luck.
If you stick to Usals in my guide above you wont go wrong as a noob on the motorised set up.

Cateyes bouquets are second to none,but if you want a good advanced set up choose non usals theres a thread in the red sticky section and Rodbouy has a good guide floating about.

When you put new ones in they just overwrite.
I added something to my Catseyes bouquets a Tv Basic with all the BBC1s Itvs with all the plus ones etc.
If you want it pm your email,makes life easier for normal fta tv.

when trying to replace bouquet using dreamboxedit im getting an error message saying i missing services from directory (please look at pic attached)

With a sub if you press the exit button twice it brings up the info bar if its fta it just says the frequency details and not your server details as well.
Obviously no sub it will be blank but snr will show up with signal strength.
Think theres a few English movies shown on 16e but cant remember the channels which are fta and english comms.

Putting Pauli Neutrino Keymap plugin helps you have better shortcuts on the remote with more features.

Thats because you havent opened the folder completely.
Read the guide again and make sure you double click on the folder till you see the services in box like the pic ive attached.

I was in the same boat last year till i got a motorised setup and switched from cable to sat and joined this great forum
