for ecm do i just press ok on channel twice and look bottom right?

On my set up its exit twice but if you hit blue button which is blue panel and scroll down you will see ecm then.
You have to do it a few times to get an idea if its fluctuating.
0.200 to 0.400 is acceptable.Higher than that and you will get a glitch.

ok > ok may bring a 2nd banner up (depending on image) if so you can read your ecm info from here ,
ideally you want sub 0.300 for glitch free slyuk , however finding a payserver with sub 0.300 can be quite challenging

checked last night and on ss1 hd im getting between 0.150 and .203

i am checking when the glitch hapens and also at random points..

any thoughts?

happens on espn hd too.. ss1 sd fine, ss2/3/4/movies hd all fine

also - my internet been playing up for last week so that may be assisting the problem.

getting fixed today i beleive, had new router etc on friday, no joy.

ill let you know about the ECM's etc after internet fixed tonight..

noticed espn hd/ss1 hd having issues..

how do i know what DM800 i have? i.e se/pro/normal and what tuner etc?

Nothing wrong there if you get the ecms you say but if its glitching with low ecms it def sounds like your end,probably internet related.
Depending on how old your Dreambox is its probably one of the later tuners maybe M 401A or the Pro M 801A it should have it written on the tuner if you look through the grill or take the cover off.
As for the Dreambox 800se thats a comnpletly different box.

Hi Guys,

got a day off tomorrow so might get chance to spend some time looking over the box.

got internet all fixed at home and the server im using is fine on my mates box etc so im thinking the image im using maybe wrong cos im still getting heavy glitching.. ecms are between 0.030 and 0.200

id had a few beers when setting it up originally and i think i installed a 76?? image - how do i find out if my box is 76/82 etc? also does the sim matter ? i get that from the LCD when booting up dont i?

also what image would you recommend - im currently using dream elite black hole 1.33d v3

also - dont know what tuner i have got, not opened it - would the tuner help you guys to help me? i got a fan in there etc (bright blue frigging fan!!)

stilll having issues with my DM800HD..

my tuner is a rev J. - is it cost effective to replace the tuner with a M tuner.. is it easy?

or could i sell it (how much? - any offers?) and buy a M tuner DM or Blade?

just reading that ebay page it says its compatabile with J and L motherboards...

me being stupid, i seen J on the motherboard and instantly thought "thats a J tunrer"

where abouts does it say what tuner it is,, on the actual tuner? ill check it tonight..

thanks smirnoff.. it is quite posible that the whole unit is fine but my server/supplier is crap.. out of house at moment but trying to source a new service to try aswell as checking tuner..
