EPG Not Working

I had to flash my dm800hd clone. I've got the channels back but can't get the epg to work.

I'm wondering if my hard drive isn't working or would I get an epg without one ?

I try to add the rytec sky uk epg like I used to. It says its loaded but it does it in about 1 second so it can't be working.

Any ideas to check my hard drive is working and how to get the epg loading ?

can you not just try pressing record button? to see if it is working. i dont have a hdd in mine but i download satmate 7day epg ok on blackhole image.

When I check the files from my pc its showing as being on the hdd. Theres nothing there though when I check on the tv.

Anyone got any other epg I can try apart from the rytec ?

Try rebooting your box, mind does this periodically and when i try to download it does the same in 1 second, so i just reboot and retry from the server again

When I try to record it says no hdd found or hdd not initialized.

I did try to initialize and did try to format. It seemed to work but maybe not.

What can I do ?

Have you mounted it?

press blue blue then device manager then mount the hdd. The say yes to restart hdd

It now says not able to initialise as the mount failed. What can I do ?

When I do that it doesn't show the hdd when I try to mount.

ok, try this.

FTP to etc/FSTAB

remove the # from the #/dev/sda1 line. Save then try to mount it.

of then try initialise it again.

Ok I tried this and it still won't mount.

Is there a guide to mounting a hdd anywhere ?

What should the ip address be as i'm not sure its correct
