let me know when you get the permanent timeshift working.....tried a few none worked as yet.

Got it working mate tried a plugin and it didnt work then I remembered someone awhile back gave me a plugin for the 800 for permanent timeshift. Tried it and hey presto it worked.

FTP to Tmp file, manaul install on receiver then restart your receiver and it should be working mate.

don't worry garry, i've had this from before but didn't work on the image at that time.

all it did was send the box into a permanent loop at startup.

i'll see what it does with this image.

this one definately works. just tried it.

unzip it and stick the unzipped file to tmp folder and manual install. restart gui. all working.

Glad you got it sorted mate. Timeshift i am not really bothered about but the mrs uses it so what she wants she gets

Just need a dual tuner receiver now .

Heard rumours that there is meant to be a dual tuner coming out at some point for the SE but think its all talk. Will ask my supplier if they know anything about this "dual tuner".

yea....dual tuner would be good.....but not that bothered as everyone got their own box. so...........but would be nice ofcourse to have the option......wonder what is happening with those duo clones??

Well when I left Sky I wondered how I would manage to live without a twin tuner and I have not missed it at all. What I noticed is you end up just recording stuff for the sake of it and 9 times out of 10 never even watch it.

I still would want one just on the off chance that I needed it and could come in handy when I finally get a motorised set up.

As far as I am aware the Duo clone is in development but unsure of a release date. We will see the Vu+ Solo clone first. Not interested in the Solo but will be keeping my eye on the Duo when released.

Also just spoke to a few suppliers all stating there is no plan for a twin tuner for the SE.

twin tuner for the SE would blow most other receivers away i would suggest :-)
