    Dead Box?

Ok guys hit major issues today when i went to watch the match.

I could not tune into any channels on any satalite. Dish would not move at all. Rebooted box. Same issues.

So i totally power box down for 15-20 mins, repowered up. Now not display at all, and was a buzzing coming out of the top of the box. I could not loacate the buzzing.

So i have stripped box and no buzzing now, just solid red and green LED on the ethernet.

I am thinking the the PSU has gone on the board unless annyone else can guide me? Am gonna take the box into work tomo to have a spark look over it, any pointers where to start?

If a light is on then the chances are it may be internal. I haven't looked inside a DM500s for a while, but normally there is a diode that blows, usually a hairline crack. It needs to be replaced. However that would be the first thing I was looking for, once I'd checked PSU output, in any box tbh. Cracked or blackened diodes.
