Can changing image improve picture freezing?

Mine glitches just on sound and i have done everything diff images, new Mtuner, turned of internal HDD, Fitted new triax dish and motor (incidentlly i get 100/100 16db signal) Stoped EPG from downloading, turned off perm time shift. Thats about all i can do the next step is new modem from BB provider and upgrade to 30mb BB connection and if that doesnt fix it then it can never be fixed and im with a good CS. So its just the nature of the beast im afraid hopefully when i save up and get a VU duo it might be different. Ive learned to live with the slight glitch every couple of mins or so, and my ecm times are good.

I think that the sound glitches are more Sky's problem.

I've been receiving occasional sound dropouts on almost all of Sky's own channels for the past few weeks.

I can safely say I dont receive any glitching or downtime at all on a pay server but the guy behind it clearly is not greedy, doesnt overfill it with peers and takes care of it and his customers.

It's just the sound that drops for me, the picture stays freeze and glitch free.
