DM800HD Streaming HD to PC

Hi,

Ive read many guides on streaming dreambox to pc and I have it working find on VLC etc BUT HD channels stutter constantly every 3-4 seconds.

I have a Dreambox 800HD clone

Its definatley not bandwidth issue as its all wired up 100mbit, Which I use to stream full blurays easily. I have chekced network usage when streaming and its fine.

My PC is fine, it is easily capable of playing back HD.

What else could be the problem? any advice?

try this
copy the link below and edit to it to your dm ip
put your dm on bbc 1 HD

open vlc media/open network
paste the link above in the address bar click play
if the screen is green video/Deinterlace/discard

that should stream bbc 1 HD

Same to me, I have teh same issue. From DM800 HDD I can copy the recorded files with 5..6 MB/s, for HD streaming is needed 2..3 MB/s, but the HD stream from DM 800 and VU+UNO to a laptop (wich can play bluerays HD movie) is a crap. With the same hardware, SD stream is flawless.
