Clone troubles

Hi all iv just recieved a dm800 clone from tony, tried o flash with a new image and was geting the error ca message! I followed he tuturial and still the same..

I dedided to have a look in the box and its shipped wih a sim 210 instead of the 201 i says on the sticker, also when i go to the bowser screen for flashing i shows bootlader 59...

Any ideas guys to what i need to do or what image i can use?

have you got an 800se? these have sim 210

Thread here but doesnt shed alot of light but im sure hes ok to flash with any sim2 image of its a Dreambox 800hd.
Have seen sim 210 in Dreambox 500HD and Dreambox 800se

Cheers guys its definatly a dm8oo pro just has a 210 sim in ill try a couple more 201 images and report back...

Try this one mate its the best image out there.
If you cant flash with the browser method you might need Dreamup with null modem cable.
Post back if your struggling.

mate if its a 210 sim....you won't be able to flash 201 images on it.

i tried flashing 201 image on my se with 210 sim. trid via browser and wouldn't allow it...gave some error message and said cant be flashed with the firmware

maybe try flashing a 210 image and see how that goes....heres a couple on this thread

Mfaraj57 reply...........No both different structurally but functionally nearly same(sim210 cards has two modes 2 and 4 and mode 4 not used tell and reserved for future development,mode2 present in both cards and used in both with current sim2 ssl)
old sim2 dm800 has sim201 card
newly produced sim2 dm800 came with new sim210 card
all sim2 images are working with both cards equally

sim2 dm800se with sim210 card only
sim2 dm500hd with sim210 card only

you have dm800 with new sim210 card
you can flash any image for dm800 labeled sim2 or sim201 or sim210
be sure use one of latest image for sim2 dm800 and if the box still doesnot accept the image then there is something wrong with sim card and you can ask for replacement or you have to open the box and to be sure that sim card is fixed well in its place

Thought as much but you learn something new every day so worth knowing that now.
You wont be disapponted with that image i like the Beyonce Silver skin.
