    dm 800hd boxes are they full hd capable, or do you have to connect sound cables as well as dvi converter

      just dvi to dvd mate, you can put it on your surround sound with the a/v outputs too .

          not full HD , Full HD=1080p , these only do 720p or 1080i (hd ready spec)
          as above they come with a cable dvi to hdmi , dvi end to dm800 , hdmi to tv , also have optical sound to go to an a-v receiver

              Personally, I see no discernible difference between 720p and 1080p, at least on a 42" LCD.
