Wifi Dongle for Dreambox 800se

I've just received my box from China and I only ordered it a few days ago, but just wanted to know quickly does anyone use a wifi dongle instead of the Ethernet lead to connect to the router? If yes, is it straight forward to set up and is there any reduction or interference with picture quality? Would most wifi dongles do the job if it is possible?

Iv just tried a wifi dongle/bridge that i bought for someone and didnt have the best of luck maybe because the router was upstairs, i know people who say it works just as good, but personally i have homeplugs yes they are a little bit more expensoive but definately worth it and you cant go wrong easily setup too

Wifi bridge are simple to use, i use one on my dm800se.
First you need to pair it with your router, to do this put the usb side into your pc, and put the network cable side into your router. then run the software.

Man I know you said it was easy but I'm looking for this usb side thing to connect to my laptop, is that a lead which plugs into the dreambox and the other end into my lappy? if so I haven't got one of those leads so for now i'll just use the Ethernet lead. Also what software would I of needed to run ?

You can get yourself an old router WRT54G for example, flash with DDWRT and configure as awireless bridge.

You can get them on ebay for cheap or use an existing one as long as its compatible

I've just ordered one of those vonnets wifi bridge of ebay. So if I try my wifi Netgear dongle that I do currently have that won't do the job?

What's with all this flashing thing man..., It feels like that's all I've been doing lately...but I like it;-)
