Hi mate Can you tell me which service DHL or UPS you used with Tony from yaoxincn?

As for import duty, I have just recieved 2 from Tony, import tax was 6quid. There is no way around it, but its a small price to pay considering the savings you will make anyway.

Dont worry about your money or service OP, its safe with yaoxin.

Yaoxin nearly always use DHL unless you ask for a different courier!

As has been mentioned in other posts they mark as low value for customs purposes.

Yeah mate I use DHL. Like I said, it worked out at 6quid for 2 dm800's.. hardly worth worrying about!

just factor an extra fiver on the price , if you get away with it bonus , if not , they mark it 35$ so only bout a fiver anyhow , as above yaoxin always use dhl unless otherwise requested , if you are buying more than 6 units , DO NOT USE DHL , use ups , or your boxes risk going thru heathrow and stricter customs control there , believe me !, i learnt this info the expensive way

Cheers mate, well if it comes a fiver on the total is still a heck of a lot cheaper than uk sourced. I had previously bought the dm800 uk sourced for approx ?150..thinking better to uk source, however the noise of the fan and sluggish remote/peformance convinced me to try the china route for the dm800se for approx ?150!! It's a MUCH better unit, quieter, faster...no regrets from me.

Yup go for it mate, you will save a shed load of cash. The people in the UK only get em from China anyway, its not like they make em over here with better parts.

Just to throw my tuppence in I got a box from ukdreamshop and it's been spot on. Remote wasn't working so they sent me a new one so I would like to give them a big thumbs up for their goods and their customer service.

Ask yourself how much do you save going the China route? And how much does it cost to send back if it goes wrong

You save around 60 quid on ukdreamshop prices, more if you buy more than 1 reciever. For exactly the same product sourced from the same places...

Send back to china, depends whats wrong, you can send just the mainboard back for 10 -15 quid, whole box for around 25 quid.

If you have a fault with a UK supplier you still have to pay the postage back to them which is around 10 quid. Only advantage is turnaround time should be faster.

You can also get UK suppliers with terrible customer service as well, who will try to fob you off with excuses. Satronics for example !
