Where did you buy from - yaoxincn?
How much was it in total?
What shipping did you use - DHL?
Whats the overall build quality like and have you had any issues?

      Regards

Should have done this before but I did another search and Tony/Tina (yaoxin) does have the 800SE listed but it's called a Sunray, going to fire of a message to them to see what price they can do it for

they have the sunray as well as the regular SE clone , think the difference is the regular clone will have all dreambox branding , the sunray oem box come with the dm badges hidden in the remote battery compartment to be attached by end user . this prevents customs seizing the unit under copyright laws

Yeah I think this is the way forward now, they must be getting complaints because of some stuff not getting through to the end user. Not yaoxin's fault of course though.

On a side note mate, how much of an improvement on the 800s is the 800se? Anything noticeable?

first impressions are its a huge improvement , the processor is 33% more powerful , making the pro look sluggish .
build quality of mine is awesome , it doesnt look out of place in my AV setup , and could pass for any high end receiver quality wise. really is eye catching with the colour oled screen and some of the skins are nice with lots of other extra info`s.

the icing on the cake was its ability to stream mkv movies over my network , which is a doddle to setup (network browser) . the pro struggles with an avi file streaming

if you get one i guarantee you wont be disappointed once its setup correctly

Really tempted to get one of these myself my only worry at the moment is choice of image.

Yeah got one on the way now, couldn't resist. The colour OLED isn't much of a pull for me as all my gear is hidden away in a cabinet - its just the power of it that is appealing to me, hoping it can cope a bit more than the 800s.

                          Soon find out!

I agree andy go for it agree with everything said there about build quality, speed etc

Im using the 4reackt image with vali hd skin, cool tv guide 4.0, colour oled picons.

Also so much more room internally than the pro also no need for the sata wires for hdd as it has a hdd docking tray. Also iy stays really cool, i have never felt it warm yet and i watch a lot of HD content
