    USB dongle from PC WORLD

I have already ordered a a vonnets wifi bridge which should arrive next week, but at the moment I'm still stretching the Ethernet lead across the floor. Is their a compatible dongle I could pick up today from Pc World or Comet that will work on my DREAMBOX 800HD se clone with Enigma2 Image?

    Cheers.

Cheers for that info Southpaw. I hope I haven't picked up your message to late and picked up the wrong one. I just got a TP-LINK WN727N wifi USB adaptor, just got back in and will try it now. Is it just a case of plugging it in the Dreambox and turning the box on then going to network to enable?

OK I've just tried to get the wifi dongle to work but no joy, I can't see any setting on my Dreambox to enable wifi. I've got Enigma2 to on my Dreambox would that matter?

your vonnets one will work just run the disc supplied and add ssid etc from your router and away you go no more tripping over that lead!be aware that the vonnets adapters get very hot so try keep it cool

Ive never noticed mine getting hot mate.. best go check though now haha!

Maybe leave it ontop of the dreambox, that would keep it cool.. or cook it maybe..
